MOUSTACHE Cups Pink 1830
Pink Sunderland Luster Staffordshire
Koniglich Porcelain
We have here Two Beautiful Old Moustache
Cups.
One is 1830
Pink Sunderland Luster Staffordshire.
It features a sweet little bird sitting on a tree Branch. He
appears to be chirping as he is perched amongst the leaves on
the Tree.
This Gorgeous Lustreware Cup stands
about 3 Inches in Height and has a diameter of about 3 3/4 Inches.
This
Wonderful Old Moustache Cup is in Lovely condition. We did not
detect any chips, cracks or repairs. It has a tad of extremely
minor wear to the bottom edge where it hits the table, but that
is not really a concern. It has a beautiful silvery Glaze to
the entire exterior of the cup, not only on the edges of the
pattern.
The other Moustache Cup is German.
It is from the Koniglich Factory. From our search of Maker Marks,
we have determined that this mark was used between 1885 and
1902. It was registered at the 'Königliches Landgericht zu Bamberg'
(Royal court in Bamberg) on June 10th 1887 .
It is about the same height as the
Lustreware cup described above, with a Diameter of about 2 3/4
Inches. This Lovely little cup has a nice swirled design in
the Porcelain.
The Upper portion is Pink as is the
Moustache Protector. The Lower Portion is in a soft pale Yellow
and superimposed between the two bands of color, we see a lovely
leaf and floral design. Its
Handle is embossed with Gold and its shape is reminiscent of
curved Bamboo.
This cup too is in very lovely condition
with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is minimal loss of the
Gold on the handle, but of course, that would be expected on
a point of use for such an old piece. There is also a bit of
loss of the gold on the bottom edge. This is not noticeable
unless the cup is raised to eye level.
Don't miss the opportunity to own these
Gorgeous Moustache Cups. They are both in Fantastic Condition
and are sure to be a wonderful addition to your collection or
for that of the avid collector in your Life!
