You are bidding on an unbelievable bargain and rare as well! This is an AUTOGRAPHED EDITION of biographical memoir of one of Israel's geratest military general, Moshe (Boogy) Ya'alon. I was at the Jerusalem book fair in June 2009 and I managed to get his autograph. I requested that sign the book and in all humility signed it as follows:

The following is  a hebrew synopsis of his book (book is in Hebrew):

הנוסחה "שטחים תמורת שלום", שנוצרה מתוך תחושת עוצמה בעקבות הנצחון במלחמת ששת הימים ונבעה מרצון להביא לסיום הסכסוך עם שכנינו, הפכה בשני העשורים האחרונים לאסטרטגיה של נסיגות מתוך תחושת חולשה בלתי-מוצדקת.
זו אחת ההבחנות העיקריות העולות מתוך דרך ארוכה קצרה, ספרו של משה (בוגי) יעלון, הרמטכ"ל בשנים 2005-2002.

רב-אלוף (מיל.) משה יעלון יליד קריית חיים, 1950. התגייס לצה"ל ב-1968 לשירות סדיר בנח"ל המוצנח. חזר לשירות בעקבות מלחמת יום הכיפורים. שירת בתפקידי פיקוד בחטיבת הצנחנים ובסיירת מטכ"ל. שימש במגוון תפקידים בכירים עד לתפקיד הרמטכ"ל.

משמש היום עמית מחקר בכיר במכון אדלסון ללימודים אסטרטגיים במרכז שלם; יו"ר המרכז לזהות ותרבות יהודית ב"בית מורשה"; נשיא עמותת שק"ל (שירותי קהילה לאנשים עם צרכים מיוחדים).
