MOONFACE AND MATTHEW by Honor Prime. First Edition 189 page hardback with dust jacket, published in 1963 by Faber and Faber, London. Illustrated by Geraldine Spence. 

Brief details:   Children's fantasy novel set in North Wales; sequel to Moonface. Very scarce.

Condition:   The book is in very good condition with a good dust jacket, now protected in a removable clear plastic outer cover.

The jacket is complete, apart from small chips at the spine ends and corners, with yellowing and minor grubby marks on the surfaces. The price has not been clipped from the front inside flap.

The red cloth hard cover, with black decoration and gilt lettering, is clean and sturdy with light wear at the spine ends. The pages are clean and securely bound, with light foxing to the edges and an ink-stamped star inside the rear cover.

There is no name, inscription or other handwriting anywhere.
