MITSUBISHI FTO 2.0 V6, SMART LOOKING CAR WITH VERY LOW MILEAGE. CLOCK SHOWS ONLY 84,000 KM'S WHICH ROUGHLY EQUATES TO AROUND 60,000 MILES. THE ENGINE AND GEARBOX ARE SMOOTH AND VERY POWERFULL, THE STEERING IS LIGHT AND PRECISE AND THE BODY WORK ALTHOUGH SHOWING SIGNS OF ITS AGE IS VERY STRAIGHT.
THE CAR WAS FIRST IMPORTED IN SEPTEMBER 2003, SINCE THEN IT HAS HAD TWO UK KEEPERS. IT IS VERY CLEAN INSIDE WITH NO RIPS OR CIGORETTE BURNS IN THE SEATS. EVERYTHING ELECTRIC WORKS ON THE CAR, WINDOWS, CLIMATE CONTROL ETC AN IT EVEN HAS A TOAD ALARM SYSTEM FITTED FOR PEACE OF MIND.
THE CAR HAS HAD NEW TYRES (MAY 2007), NEW BRAKES ALL ROUND AT MITSUBISHI MAIN AGENT (OCTOBER 2007), A RECENT OIL AND FILTER CHANGE, RECENT AIR FILTER CHANGE AND THE HEADLIGHTS HAVE EVEN BEEN UPGRADED TO HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE (HID) ONES.
THE CAR HAS MOT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 3RD 2008 AND IS TAXED UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2007.
THE CAR IS GENERALLY VERY CLEAN BODY WISE, THERE ARE SOME SLIGHT MARKS HERE AND THERE, THE WORST BEING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PASSENGER DOOR (SLIGHT SCUFF) WHICH WOULD MORE THAN LIKELY BUFF OUT WITH THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT. THE ONLY OTHER THREE FAULTS I KNOW OF ARE A SLIGHT BLOW FROM THE EXHAUST (NOT THAT BAD AT ALL), THE PASSENGER DOOR CENTRAL LOCKING MOTOR IS TEMPERAMENTAL AND WHEN STARTING THE CAR FROM COLD THE HYDRAULIC LIFTERS CHITTER UNTIL THE CAR IS WARM (MOST PROBABLY CAUSED BY THE USE OF FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL).
THE CAR CURRENTLY HAS NO STEREO FITTED EITHER.
