Millefiori Glass Necklace


Wow these multi-coloured beads are really pretty - these are genuine mosaic millefiori glass beads. (The traditional mosaic type - they look nothing like the modern chinese machine-cut "millefiori" versions!) All the beads have all been handmade using ancient glass-making methods and so each bead is a miniature unique work of art.
  • Your necklace will be very similar to the pictures. These photos come from 4 separate necklaces selected at random from my small lot of 20 handmade necklaces (restrung on strong tigertail wire). This is all I have of these gorgeous millefiori glass beads so do buy one now to avoid disappointment - once they are gone, they're gone.

  • The beads are approx 19mm wide (although they vary slightly in size since each one was individually handmade), making this necklace really chunky. The necklace weighs about 170g. The total length of the necklace is 18 inches plus an additional 2 inches extender chain, making the max length about 20 inches (50 cm). The necklace has a chunky silver plated lobster clasp.

  • I currently have matching millefiori glass earrings and matching millefiori glass bracelets, but do hurry as I am really limited on these old millefiori glass beads!
