Royal Army Service Corps Collar Badges This Auction is for a pair of Collar Badges as formerly worn by the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC). The Corps became the Royal Corps of Transport in 1965 taking over transport duties of the Royal Engineers and Royal Army Service Corps.  Under 'Options for Change' in 1991 along with: Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC); Royal Pioneer Corps (RPC); Army Catering Corps (ACC); Postal and Courier Services (RE), they were incorporated into the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC). Rare brand new and unissued staybrite/anodised 'Other Ranks' pair of Collar Badges in a all Gold finish, complete with their lug's, brass backing plates and brass split pins. Badges: A star with the Queen's crown resting on top, with centrepiece and title scroll in a Gold (anodised aluminium finish), which consists of a laurel wreath, E:R (Queen's cipher) surrounded by the Order of the Garter 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' (Evil to him who evil thinks).
