This CD comprises tracks taken from Charlie Parker's Dial Sessions, which receive a five star ***** review in the latest edition of the All Music Guide To Jazz.
The first seven sessions (a) to (g) spaced over a year and a half, changed the face of jazz forever. They set the pace for the new bebop style, with every solo being taken apart like a fine watch.
The personnel on any of these tracks reads like a Who's Who of jazz, with all of them contributing mightily on various sides.
