*Mike Dodd* Studio pottery, Stoneware, Chawan. Hand thrown, dep celadon green ash glazed with resist kaki rust 'fluting'. Size; 8.5cms deep, 16.3cms diameter. New condition. Glaze infilled, but discernable, [ MJD ] seal, to button on base. Mike first learnt pottery at the same school and from the same teacher (Don Potter), as Richard Batterham and later worked with Jim Malone in Cumbria so little wonder that these three have stylistic similarities and are currently the hottest potters creating in Britain today. Please scroll to the end of the listing for additional photographs. I have a large stock of 20thCentury Studio Pottery & Ceramics and welcome enquiries if you wish me to list a particular potter on ebay. You can contact me by using ebay’s, “contact a member” facility or through my ebay shop.. General terms, valid unless countermanded by any additional terms or variations, above. Please ensure that you have read these before bidding please. # Payment: Paypal or cheques in UK. I will accept cash upon personal collection. Paypal only for international buyers. # Invoicing: All postage fees quoted in my listings are estimates and whilst usually accurate, it is preferable for buyers to wait for an invoice before making payment as the costs can often reduce in their favour. Please also note, if the price exceeds £39.00, that I will use a higher insurance value service, If this is not paid for, then a buyer’s investment may not be fully covered and I will only refund the insured value. # Delivery: UK postage, Recorded Delivery under £39 and Special Delivery if over £39. International by arrangement. (please contact me to discuss before bidding). Unlike most ebay sellers, I accept that, (under English law), it is the seller's responsibility to deliver, hence the signed-for delivery, and, therefore, I will make claims for any delivery transgressions. Please do not ask for any non-tracked or uninsured delivery methods. Customers are always welcome to arrange their own shipping. # Multiple purchases: Where these are made, please wait for me to contact you with revised and consolidated postage costs. # Damage: If items are damaged, photograph the damage and packaging together. Always retain packaging for inspection. No claim (and therefore, refund), can be made if these instructions are not followed. Loss; most shippers will require at least a month to elapse before the item is considered lost. Therefore, in this case, please understand that I am obliged to delay a refund until this period has passed and is not due to tardiness or reluctance on my part. # Returns: I will accept returns over a 28 day period but expect to notified within seven days of receipt of the goods. If there has been a case of mis-description or damage (see above), then I will refund the original price including postage and return postage. If the purchaser makes a return under their statutory rights of the Distant Selling Act, then I will refund the original price and postage. The buyer is responsible for return postage. I reserve the right to impose a 10% handling charge, in order to make good my non-recoverable fees. In all cases the buyer is responsible for returning the goods in original condition. If the item is lost or damaged in shipping, then, they still own it and must make their own insurance claims. # Feedback: I do appreciate the courtesy, of buyers letting me know when an item has arrived safely. All feedback now counts – both yours and mine. Reciprocal feedback will always be posted once a buyer has made their comments. Check out my other items and shop, finally be sure to add me to your favourites list!
