Whilst this new model looks externally like the original Midland 38 Plus it is internally more an upgraded Midland 78 plus chassis and is very well constructed.

Features are fairly standard with volume and squelch controls and channel selector both on the radio and through the mike up/down buttons.

The LCD display shows RX and TX signal strength in bar graph format and there is provision to connect an external S meter if required.

A unique function is the user set up of any one of 7 backlight colours for the function display so hours of fun there !

The 121 is, like most modern radios, a multiband so you can programme the radio for any EU band including UK and CEPT / Mids channels.
