WHAT A FIND!! This AUCTION is for a MINT-IN-BOX (MIB) SLIME TIME, 3-FUNCTION DIGITAL WATCH (#70040 Asst.) by HASBRO, INC, and DATED 1986...that's 23 YEARS AGO!! As it SAYS on the BOX, "THEY'RE WATCHES MADE FROM GLOBS OF GOO, THEY'RE TOADS AND SNAKES AND WINGED BATS TOO! THEY'RE SLIMY CREEPY CREATURES WITH SOME INTERESTING FEATURES...REAL WATCHES INSIDE!". This particular SLIME TIME WATCH is a BLACK BAT (#70044), and it will be MINT because it has NOT BEEN REMOVED from its ORIGINAL NEAR-MINT CONDITION BOX. (Any slight stress creases or tiny dents in the clear plastic window occurred during either the factory packing or shipping process. Also, the end tapes may be loose or missing altogether, as they have become very dry and brittle due to their age.) With a SLIME TIME WATCH, you just "OPEN UP YOUR CREATURE'S MOUTH AND HE'LL SHOW YOU THE TIME!". They are RECOMMENDED for AGES 4 AND UP, and INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS to SET THE WATCH. (Since the original battery in all of these watches has now stopped working due to their "age", we actually did open up a toy warehouse "display" Slime Time watch, and found that we were able to replace the battery with a DURACELL 384/392 WATCH/ELECTRONIC BUTTON CELL BATTERY, and it NOW WORKS PERFECTLY! Although the watch we did open, worked with a new battery installed, we cannot guarantee that your watch will work as well. And since the watch is 23 years old, the condition of the parts inside are unknown.)
