MGB Roadster Tax exempt O/D MOT Failure
This Tax exempt Roadster failed it's MOT in May on the following points:- these have been taken from the testers notes on the VT30 (Refusal of an MOT Certificate) and offer a good starting point to start the restoration.


1.Off side front brake master cylinder mounting area excessively corroded
2.Offside rear ( inner arch) seat belt anchorage  area excessively corroded
3.Nearside ( inner sill) seat belt anchorage  area excessively corroded
4.Offside rear ( inner sill) seat belt anchorage  area excessively corroded
5.Nearside rear ( inner sill) seat belt anchorage  area excessively corroded
6.Nearside rear ( floor to sill) seat belt anchorage  area excessively corroded
7.Offside front wheel bearing feels rough when rotated
8.Offside front brake hose excessively deterioated.

The batteries are missing and the hood is very rough but the hood frame in good condition

The car with the help of the battery and jump leads( Pictured and NOT included in the sale starts and runs but has a missfire and needs ahead Gasket replacing (Oil/water emulsion in the Rockerbox) New gasket set included in the sale.

It drives well and the overdrive switches in and out fine in 3rd and 4th as it should, the brake and clutch work fine 

To get the car on the road it needs the welding and mechanical as shown above, the head gasket doing and what ever cosmetic you need the seats and interior are very worn!
