MERCEDES CDI INJECTOR CLAMP REPAIR KIT. This special repair kit is suitable for the repair of MERCEDES CDI injector clamp bolts If you own or work on vehicles fitted with this range of engines regularly you will understand the major problem associated with this type of clamping arrangement. The 6mm clamping thread is located approximately 3" down inside the cylinder head when these break or become seized (which they do regularly) there is no way to clamp the injector. Due to the design of the clamping arangement it is not possible to use a normal type HELICOIL or similar repair insert as the existing hole is already at a larger diameter. This tooling has been designed to make the successful repair as simple and quick as possible. Step by step written and illustrated instructions to guide you through the process which should take no more than a few minutes. Simply drill the hole to guided depth and screw in the insert EASY ! Simple and effective ! Supplied with 10 repair inserts. Complete repair kit £90.00 P+P £4.25 (UK mainland only) Outside UK please contact for postage cost.
