Wow just have a look at this, the very VERY RARE 412D Auto Sprinter mini bus which if you don’t know is the desired best in the Sprinter line With the best 2.9 Turbo Diesel engine which is the good reliable chain driven engine which is frankly as good as a lorry engine in that it just goes on for ever!! Not like the new cdi engines that do give a lot expensive problems, it also has the very rare good old 4 speed auto gear box with a nice smooth gear change combined with the Twin wheel rear axle that will practically carry any weight you throw at it!

It would make an ideal camper conversion van, with a side door, fully insulated and lined with a night heater (Which if you don’t know, is just like central heating) lined heavy duty floor, lights inside and out, fans the lot!! All fitted so all that’s left for you to do is fit some side boards and there you have your new camper! That will always be worth a hell of a lot of money, you just have a look at Sprinters campers with the 2.9auto engine and gear box that has a staggering low miles as this one There special order van from the police with all the toys and they do cost thousand’s to build I know that an ambulance cost over 60k to build so these must be half that at least I know the night heater is £2500 on its own!! it has 8 seats including the drivers but if you don’t want a camper you have to put some more seats in the back or leave it as it is and you would have Your self what is known as one of the best mini bus‘s in the world! With the 2.9 Turbo Diesel engine which if you have only had the non turbo before, try these and you would not go back, they have all the power you would need so no more changing down up hills! Now as for Condition What can I say for the year and mileage on this van its in a good Condition in side and out as you can see from the pictures! It is a 1996 Fleet used van so please don’t expect a new van or perfection Looking around it I have noticed a couple of little dents and marks but nothing really major the inside does need a radio and there is a couple of small drill holes where police equipment was also no ash tray so no smoking! The paint work is still clean and shiny its not a Rot Box at all, its obviously had paint work due to sticker removal/paint damage The only thing is with most of these vans is when they decommission them they have to disconnect all their equipment ect and when they do this they either cut or disconnect/cut the wiring loom or take the second battery or switch panel out that feeds the rear lights fans night heater and any electrics that are not original ect but it is just a case of finding where they have done it and reconnect it back up they have to do it due to they cant sell any emergency vehicles with any equipment fitted all the running and original lights indicators ect work fine.

You can see by looking and driving this van that it’s been looked after to the top standards and still drives really Very well as it should. It also provides Lot’s of power from the Rare and Desired 2.9 Turbo Diesel engine (Very Impressive) and the Auto box both engine and box are as sweet as a nut!! and is Cheap To Run and maintain and very good on Diesel. .

This Mercedes is direct from the Metropolitan Police Service which is such a good thing as what you are getting is a van that has no bad history as how more genuine can you get than a van direct from the Police!
