Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI Tiptronic Automatic 'Elegance' in Brilliant Silver Metallic.
This car has provided me with two and a half years of fantastic, reliable and comfortable motoring. It has been maintained to a high standard during my ownership and I have kept all the receipts for repair work and parts. The car has a full service history and was last serviced at 141,000 miles. For a large car, with its 6-cylinder engine, it is surprisingly fast if you wish to accelerate hard, but will return over 40mpg on a motorway run (my wife manages to get 45mpg out of it, I can't!). I am only selling because I am receiving a new company car.
Being an 'Elegance' model it has all the features you would expect- ABS Brakes, Central Locking, front and side airbags for driver and passengers, immobiliser, cruise control and speed limter setting, electric windows front and rear, auto sensor windscreen wipers, alloy wheels, adjustable steering column, multi-functional steering for controling the , Sony CD head unit with 10-CD interchanger, full grey leather interior, remote central door locking, three rear head restraints which fold down at the touch of a button on the dashboard, electronic stability program, front drivers spot and rear fog lights, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors with integral indicator lights, internal rear view mirror with auto dipping function and electrically adjustable front seats for height and angle. Above this standard 'Elegance' spec, this car has a factory-fitted electric tilt/slide sunshine roof, heated front seats (ideal as those cold winter mornings approach!) and power-fold door mirrors.
As you would expect from a nine year old car, there are some scratches and scuffs on the bodywork and rear bumper, but nothing major. The inner wheelarch lips are all starting to show signs of surface rust (a typical E-class 'feature') and the enamel is peeling off the front alloy wheels (again, very typical on these cars). The passenger side power-fold mirror is tempremental, but other than these points, it's a very nice car.
