THIS CLASSIC BROWN JACKET IS JUST PERFECT FOR SO MANY OCCASIONS! ELEGANT ENOUGH FOR A ROYAL VISIT AND SHARP ENOUGH FOR ANY FORMAL OUTING. MADE FROM A MEDIUM WEIGHT WOOL BLEND MATERIAL AND FULLY LINED IN A CONTRASTING TOP QUALITY BROWN SATIN LINING. JACKET FRONT HAS CHOCOLATE BROWN BLACK SCROLLED GIMP TRIM FOR THE FAUX BUTTON HOLES AND HAS LARGE BLACK FACETED BUTTONS FOR JUST A HINT OF GLIMMER AS YOU STROLL AROUND THE ROOM. JACKET IS FINISHED OFF WITH FABULOUS OVERSIZED BROWN VELVET CUFFS...ALL IN ALL A TOP OF THE LINE JACKET !!! This is my favorite jacket pattern to sew from. Jacket front is cut on bias to sit nicely on the chest and taper flatteringly down the side over the hips to the slight and dashing hem. Jacket measurements show a gap in front, this measurement is included in the measurements - Jacket was made this way as per the period look, and was meant to show off your waistcoat, vest, jabot or cravat. ****** Please take the time to measure against a similar garment for fit and please ask any and all questions BEFORE purchase as this is a costume and is non- refundable. I love to talk costumes! Vest is not included in this listed - but the sparkling white Jabot is included FREE for a short time only. It is adviseable to get a jacket an inch or two larger than your regular jacket sizing, this will give good room for movement taking into account your vest and such and give good relaxed fit on the chest without riding up when you lift your arms etc.
