A new member of the MFT family This versatile instrument is the latest addition to the UK’s biggest selling family of multifunction testers, the MFT1500 series. The new MFT1552 is also supplied, as standard, with a full calibration certificate, eliminating the expense and inconvenient delays of having to purchase this essential item separately. When testing RCDs, users of the MFT1552 simply plug it into the socket and initiate the test sequence. They then stand next to the RCD, and reset it each time it trips as the testing proceeds. Without further user intervention, the instrument carries out all five of the tests prescribed by the 16th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, and stores the results. The stored results can be displayed on MFT1552 display by repeatedly pressing the “Lock” botton. Since RCDs are often located some distance from the sockets they supply, large time savings are achieved, as users no longer have to continually return to the instrument, after resetting the RCD, to initiate each separate stage of the test sequence. Designed with the help of users Like all of the instruments in the MFT1500 range, the new MFT1552 testers feature an ergonomic design which was developed in close consultation with electrical contractors. The instruments are also easy to operate, allowing tests to be performed rapidly, with minimal risk of mistakes.

MFT1500-series testers provide all of the testing facilities needed by electrical contractors in a single, compact, and very robust instrument. To protect users, even when they are working under difficult conditions, the testers incorporate an extensive range of safety features. These include live circuit warning, auto-discharge after insulation tests, and colour-coded controls which reduce the risk of operator error. A wealth of easy to use features In addition to automatic RCD testing, the new MFT1552 provides facilities which include continuity testing with an adjustable-threshold buzzer; continuity measurement up to 99.9kohms; insulation testing at up 1,000V; standard, selective and DC-sensitive RCD testing; RCD ramp testing; non-tripping and high-current loop tests; three-phase loop tests; and prospective short-circuit current measurement. It also has backlighting not only for the display, but also for the selector switches, making the instrument particularly easy to use in poorly lit areas. Other features include an illuminated switch probe, and a durable fitted carrying case.

Our Couriers & Delivery Times

We aim to despatch all sales as soon as possible for your convenience (within 48hours at the latest). However, as we are also a high street outlet we sometimes sell out of items. In this rare occurance, we will contact you.

We send our larger items via Parcelforce. These will be sent by either 24hr or 48hr depending on instruction by the buyer when they complete the checkout. We can offer a Saturday delivery but there will be an additional charge, please call us on 0845 475 4064 to discuss this.

Standard delivery times are 24hrs or 48hrs to mainland UK. Deliveries to Northern Ireland & Highland areas of Scotland may take up to 72hrs. All delivery times stated are working days.

We send tracking details of your order to the email address supplied at the time of payment.

Parcelforce will try a maximum of 2 times to deliver, if no delivery can be made they will leave contact details explaining how you can receive your parcel. After 7 days Parcelforce will return the delivery to us. Unfortunately we are charged for this and will need payment from the customer for re-delivery charges before we can despatch the goods.

All our other items are sent out via Royal Mail, either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery, depending on instruction by the buyer when they complete the checkout.

All deliveries will need to be signed for. Please note if you would like to provide an alternative address for delivery, please inform us as soon as possible either by email or call us on 0845 475 4064.

Delivery price as stated on all listings is to UK Mainland address only, additional charges may occur for postcode areas out of this remit.

1. Our Contract / Definitions
1.1 “The Company" shall mean powersaver electrical supplies ltd whose office is at Unit 1 Burnham Trading Park, Burnham Gate, Burnley, Lancashire.
1.2 “The customer" shall mean any person or persons, firm, company or corporation who buys or agrees to buy goods from the company. 
1.3 These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by powersaver electrical supplies or powersaveronline  of Burnham Trade Park, Burnley. Together with the completed order form, these Terms and Conditions constitute the entire and only agreement between us in relation thereto. Our acceptance of your order by delivery of the goods constitutes a legally binding contract between us, on these terms and conditions.

2. Conditions Applicable
2.1 Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale of goods entered into by the Company. All conditions of the Customer or other terms and conditions or warranties whatsoever are excluded from the contract or any variation thereof unless expressly accepted by the Company in writing, and these terms and conditions shall be deemed to be incorporated in any quotation received from the Company and the Customer's own conditions shall not be regarded as a counter offer.
2.2 The exercise by the Company of any right pursuant to these Terms and Conditions shall be without prejudice to any other right available to it whether hereunder or under general law.

3. Quotations
3.1 The Customer acknowledges that no contract was entered into in reliance on any representations other than those incorporated in the Company's quotation and these Conditions, and particularly no catalogue or price list shall form part of the contract documents.
3.2 A quotation by the Company shall not constitute an offer and there shall be no binding contract until the Company has confirmed acceptance of the order placed by the Customer.
3.3 Unless otherwise specifically stated, all prices quoted by the Company are exclusive of Value Added Tax, which shall be due at the rate in force at the date of the Company's invoice to the Customer.
3.4 Quotations assume the accuracy of information provided by the Customer and are not valid in the event of any information supplied to the Company being incomplete, inaccurate or misleading. Any modifications to specifications required after the Company has provided a quote may entail an extra charge being raised at a reasonable rate having regard to the nature of the modification.

4. Delivery and Title
4.1 We shall deliver the goods in accordance with your order. A valid signature will be required on collection or delivery. Immediately prior to despatch of the goods to you, title in the goods will pass to you. In the unlikely event that you have not received all the goods within 21 days of the date of delivery (or where you have requested a delayed despatch within 21 days of the requested despatch date), you must notify us immediately.

5. Cancellation, Termination and Returns
5.1 No cancellation, suspension or variation by the Customer of any order accepted by the Company shall be valid unless agreed by the Company in writing, fax or e-mail and such agreement may only be given on terms which compensate the Company for any loss, costs, damages, charges and expenses thereby incurred by the Company, such compensation to be decided by the Company in its absolute discretion. In particular, the Company reserves the right to charge a 20% handling charge for goods which are accepted back into stock for credit, although the Company's claim in this regard may not be limited to this sum.
5.2 The Company reserves the right to make any changes in the specification of goods which are required to conform with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements or where the goods are supplied to the Customer's specification which do not materially affect their quality or performance.
5.3 On cancellation, you must return the goods to us at your cost unless the goods are being returned due to incorrect delivery by fault of the company. The company will nominate the carrier.
5.4 We may suspend further supply or delivery, stop any goods in transit or terminate our contract by notice in writing to you if you are in breach of an obligation hereunder or you become unable to pay your debts when they fall due or proceedings are commenced by or against you alleging bankruptcy or insolvency. Upon termination, your indebtedness to us becomes immediately due and payable and we shall be under no further obligation to supply goods to you.
5.5 If you do not like an item purchased from our online store, for whatever reason, return it to us at your cost within 14 days of the delivery date together with the original packaging in 'Saleable Condition' and we will either exchange the item or provide a full refund.
5.6 If you have requested a non-stock special order item that is not shown on-line at www.brewtime.co.uk or www.brewtime.com that has been ordered in for you, and you would subsequently like to return it, it shall be returned at your cost. We will charge up to 35% returns charge in line with the relevant manufacturers returns charges (excluding VAT@17.5%). In the case of non-stock items we cannot authorise a refund until it has been authorised by the manufacturer.
5.7 We make every effort to describe products accurately. While we cannot accept liability for errors or if slight variations in the actual goods occur, we will provide a full refund if you are dissatisfied. We will not be responsible for the cost of return postage or delivery.
5.8 All returns must have a valid authorisation code prior to return. This must be conducted by e-mail.

5.9 Goods that are received damaged must be reported to us within 24 hours. This is a stipulation of the insurance cover in place with our carrier. We will either exchange them or provide a full refund, this will be provided at our cost. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
5.10 The company will not refund any carriage charges incurred by the customer unless the costs incurred are by direct fault of the company.

6. Price & Payment
6.1 The price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our website at the time you place your order, plus any charges for carriage as set out in the order form.
6.2 We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order, and any applicable charges for carriage before your order can be accepted unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.

7. Availability
7.1 While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, if we have insufficient stock to supply or deliver the goods ordered and paid for by you, we may, at our discretion, supply or deliver a substituted product or refund you the price paid for such goods as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days.

8. Warranty
8.1 Subject as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions and except where goods are sold or services provided to a person dealing as consumer within the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permissible by law.
8.2 All warranty times are governed solely by the manufacturers terms and conditions.

9. Liability
9.1 If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in line with the terms and conditions set out under Cancellation, Termination and Returns. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

10. Force Majeure
10.1 We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).

11. General
11.1 If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.

12. VAT
12.1 All prices at completion of order include VAT at 17.5% subject to changes in taxation. Goods not subject to VAT are exempt. Vat No. 633868705

13. Age Requirements for Specific Goods
13.1 Where the law requires a minimum age limit for the purchase of specific goods, you confirm that you are over the required age limit and the person that will accept delivery is over the required age limit.
