Lamellar armor is top one from many stand-points because of great balance between flexibility, protection and weight.  Armor is made of small hand-blackened steel scales, thickness is 1mm which is absolutely enough because of double-covering and great shock-absorption properties of lamellar armor. Shoulders and front/back plates are also made of stainless steel (1.58 mm i.e. 16 ga). . Each line of scales is covered with leather for best shock-absorption and contact between scales. There are 10 holes in each scale in accordance to authentic Mongolian design - most complicated and reliable fastening way. In comparison to previous version armor is upgrated with wider and longer shoulders - they looks better and protect arm from almost all directions.
