The MAXX Pro 330AL is our best selling boat. From our Pro dive range it is packed with features that make it one of the best all round packages available at a very affordable price.

Manufactured from new, improved 1.2T decitex fabrics, the whole boat is cold glue welded by hand in the traditional way. Each seam is hand cut and layed with a double layered 1 inch taped seam inside and out. Each model in the MAXX range is designed and manufactured to our exacting standards, for us and only us.  Every single boat that is manufactured for JSG has to be pressure tested for five days at the factory. Take a look at the pictures below. These are just a few of our boats on the production line including some of our larger Rigid inflatables. Every boat is checked and then checked again before it is shipped. Buy a MAXX and you buy a boat that will do the job and do it well

So lets do the spec sheet

The boat is a full 3.3 mtrs in length with an extra wide beam. The all new deeper inflatable keel for 2009 offers much sharper handling, superior planing characteristics and a drier, more comfortable ride. Superbly crafted and finished in Naval White and Royal Blue fabric. This is no ordinary inflatable.

Originally designed for professional use but also a great family boat for fun, fishing, diving or tender use.

Perfect for lazy days on the river, cruising around the coastal waters, a spot of fishing or some serious diving.

The 330AL is a CE certified boat under Category C

What does this mean? & Where can it be used?

Category C of the Recreational Craft Directive means that the craft is suitable for River, Lakes, Estuary or Sea " Conditions Permitting"

It is rated for use in waves up to 2 metres at Force 6

These are directives only and common sense must always be used. Always wear a life jacket.

Our fabrics are among the best in the business. All 1.2T double coated Decitex with a high tensile woven polyester inner core. Highly resistant to fuel contamination, oil, salt and sunlight. The outer layers offer superior protection from abrasives such as sand and the woven inner core offers a superior safeguard against tearing and de-lamination.

Please note that the main cost in the boat is the fabric. It costs no more in labour to manufacture a boat using cheaper, inferior fabrics. There are plenty of these boats on offer elsewhere. Manufacturered from lightweight fabrics. These boats are fine for a bit of fun but will they last, probably not.

I have been using the same 330AL with my family for almost 4 years now and it is still in almost perfect condition. I take my four sons out to sea in our boat knowing that this boat will not let us down. Calm water or a reasonable swell, not a problem with this boat. Pictures below.

The boat shown above is my own boat and not the boat on sale. Engine, launch wheels and children not included in this listing. For information purposes I am using a Mariner 9.9hp, short shaft 4 stroke which performs superbly with 5 on board.

 The tubes on this boat are a full 42 cms in diameter. Our boats are designed with safety in mind.

With three chambers plus the inflatable keel you can sail with the assurance that if a chamber did pick up a puncture or have a leakage the other chambers would keep you afloat. We use the latest style of flush fitting safety valves, each having a secondary outer seal for added peace of mind. Along both sides of the tubes we have fitted a heavy duty rubbing strake with anti spray profiles. These not only protect your beautifully crafted boat from abrasion and damage but also deflect any spray away from the boat and its occupants. The same style of rubbing strake is also fitted all along the keel for protection if dragged onto sandy beaches etc.

This boat has a super strong, but lightweight sectional aluminum deck. Supplied in four interlocking sections it is easy to transport, easy to install and most of all it is super strong and solid. All AL boats have fitted fuel tank straps at the rear. You can stand up in this boat, the deck is solid and it wont rust or rot away. Perfect for fishing and diving. Safe for children.

At the rear of the boat is the transom. A double coated and reinforced plywood transom with fitted motor mounts inside and out. This boat is rated to carry up to a 15hp short shaft engine ( 10hp recommended) The transom is fitted with a self bailing one way valve and is fully bonded onto the tubes.

At the rear of the transom we have the tube cones. All new design on the 09/mk2. We have made them even longer than before and also downturned the cones which places more tube in the water making the boat more stable on the plane and in turns. This design also helps spread the extra loading of todays 4 stroke motors. We have also added some solid protection cones at the end. The extra length improves the handling and adds overall stability to the boat.

Now check out the pictures of this superb boat. You will see that along each side we have added a full row of fully bonded grab handles. Most low cost boats will just have a length of rope strung along the tubes. We want you to feel secure in our boats, give you something substantial to hold on to. Each grab handle is 5mm thick and is cold glue welded to the tube. Safe and strong and that's the way we like it..

The bow is upturned and bull nosed. The upturn reduces spray and low speed drag and the bull nose shape gives you more inner bow width and free space for a comfortable journey.

Now for the seating

This is a large family sized boat. Most low cost boats are only supplied with a single seat. A boat this size needs more than one seat. We are giving you two seats (NO EXTRA CHARGE) You do of course have the option of fitting one seat ( front or rear) fitting both seats or if diving having no seats but we do supply two seats. Our seats are stronger than many others supplied. Please look at the pictures and you will see that our double coated marine ply seats are 25% thicker than others. Our standards are very high and we never cut corners.

That's not all.. I don't like sitting on a hard bench seat in my boat so why should my valued customers.

Every boat is supplied with not one but two soft, padded seat toppers. Sail in comfort, enjoy the experience.

Wait there is more....

I am also going to supply you with not one but two under seat storage bags which zip onto the padded seat toppers. They are easily attached or detached and have a strong shoulder strap fitted so that you can carry a picnic or your personal belongings ashore with you.

Now these seat toppers and storage bags have a RRP of £32.99 each inc. vat
