Q: What else can I do to help my prostate?

Avoid anything that decreases blood circulation or that can increase hypertension. For example, coffee, some cold and flu medications (read the labels) that contain an anti-hystamine or a nasal decongestant.

Do take hot or iced tea (black or green). Tea does not seem to negatively affect your prostate and may actually be beneficial. Black tea is more tasty, so that is what I drink daily.

Try to maintain a reasonable weight - table weights may be hard to achieve, but try and keep your weight as low as you can. It will be good for more than just your prostate!

Take herbs and other supplements that can increase blood circulation and decrease swelling ... for example, garlic and the amino acid L-Cysteine (several grams a day to be noticable and may not be cost effective) and its derivatives.

Take up walking every day.

Take warm seltzer whirlpool baths.

It won't hurt to take a standardized whole herb saw palmetto product in addition to Maximum Prostate - the saw palmetto berry may contain other ingredients that are beneficial to the prostate.

Pygeum Africanum is another herb some have found beneficial for the prostate. I have tried it alone and in combination with Saw Palmetto. I prefer to take Saw Palmetto without the Pygeum. Some of you may benefit from taking it so it is definitely something else to try.
Q: Can I take more than 2 capsules per day!

Yes, some customers have told me they found the best results when they started taking 4 to 6 capsules per day. You may need to experiment with the daily dose to see what works best for you.
