Sleep disturbances are extremely common in pregnancy - especially in the final trimester.  As your baby approaches his or her birth, there is more strain on the muscles and ligament structures that support your back and uterus.  By placing the body pillow underneath your bump and between your legs whilst on your side, the effects of this are reduced and, hopefully, will help you get that much needed rest.

When your baby arrives, you will find this pillow invaluable to assist you with breastfeeding.  It is vitally important to get the position of your baby correct to facilitate good fixing at the breast.  This is especially important in the early days - the most challenging time when anything to make life easier is welcome!  This pillow can help bring your baby up to the correct height by placing on your lap.  Additionally, it is long enough to wrap right around your back giving you that much needed support too - very welcome in the middle of the night when sitting up in bed.  The pillow can also be useful when feeding twins - either to use as a platform across your lap or wrapped around your back for "rugby ball" hold.
