The fondness of the Chinese people for jade has extended from the pre historic age to the present. They have not only viewed as a lucky symbol, but also for its beauty and as a standard of conduct to be followed by the ideal man, hence its importance in Chinese life. This special, rare and hard to get bibliographical source book was printed in 1970 in Japan and published by the National Palace Museum in I believe Taipei, republic of China.

Within these pages you have 50 colored plated of exquisite works of art, all made from Jade. Also included is  a bibliographic description of each item in English and in Chinese characters. Represented are examples of the Ching, Han, Shang, Sung, Chou, Huang and warring states dynasty's. On the last page of the book is an official Japanese? stamp showing the authenticity and rarity of this book. Printed in Japan on very thick stock fine paper. I believe the code number for this out of print book is 03718622751002
