MASTER OF KUNG FU # 48 SHANG-CHI GULACY MARVEL COMIC BK

Shang-Chi was a great Bronze Age Marvel character - great plots fusing kung fu with the Sax Rohmer Fu Manchu story. This is part of a big listing which includes both of his try-out appearances in Special Marvel Edition which became Master of Kung Fu thereafter and some of the giant-size ssues.

With this set they are almost exclusively US 'cents' not UK 'pence' copies that were well-looked after. Some are better than others, of course, but some of the early issues are very well-preserved (certainly true of many of the books pre # 30 which look unread).

All the photographs are of the actual comic books and are not stock images. And P&P rates will always be discounted if combined wins can be shipped in one package.

Like other collections that I'm trying to prune back these books have all been collected over a 30+ year period.  Almost exclusively sourced from the US/Canada, though a few issues have been acquired from UK dealers (mainly early Bronze Age issues). These are simply doubles or duplicates covered by reprints I have elsewhere so can all be sold.

Some general points about this run;

- all books have been photographed out of their bags to give the fairest view possible of the front cover

- in most cases these issues will be US 'cents' not UK 'pence' versions and, when I do list a UK-variant, I will quantify this (they are rarer, of course!)

- if you want to wait to bid on future listings after the end of an auction to combine shipping that's perfectly acceptable

- all non-CGC auctions will be on a NO reserve basis

As with all these books whilst with me they have been well-cared for; storage has been in the cool attic of a smoke & pet-free house. All comics have been housed vertically in comic boxes having first been bagged and boarded.

International bidders are welcome but I'll need to advise postage & packing costs dependent upon location. Delivery will be made using international courier or International Signed For Delivery from Royal Mail. Payment by any non-UK auction winner must be via PayPal.

All comics will be sent well packaged with protective materials - I know how rough the post can sometimes be. For the UK Recorded Delivery will be advisable and this can, of course, be upgraded to Special Delivery if the extra peace-of-mind that service provides is desirable. This would be particularly important in the case of the high-value books that will be listed.
