10x7inch (250x175mm) amateur photo from the BRITISH GP meeting sports car race in 1954 at Silverstone.

In this shot the famous Maserati A6GCS which Roy Salvadori normally raced in being driven by French privateer "Mike Sparken". The car was raced widely in British events for owner Sid Green of Gilby Engineering at the time. Sparken was at the wheel on this ocassion as Salvadori was racing a factory team Aston Martin.Roy was 2nd in the race, Sparken a distant 17th.

This, like all our photos listed on eBay has been recently printed in a commercial photo lab using the latest equipment and materials and should not be mistaken for a cheap inkjet printout.
