Marlin Berlinetta, one of the better 1930s replica kitcars. Good points: all running gear - brakes, bushes, suspension, cables - new. New tyres, new battery, new carb, straight through exhaust system. Engine 205 2l unleaded, strong and reliable. Gearbox 1600 5 speed. Is fast, handles, has a heater and removable hard top. Good on mpg. Ford bits, very cheap. Bad points: Have used car at a number of shows, decided to hand paint as finish of the car has scratches and areas of body cobwebbing so decision was to just have fun instead of complete respray. Seats need re-covering and interior not the best. Overall conclusion: Owned the car 3 years, been used all year round. She's been great fun, very reliable and sad to see her go.
