The Mamas and Papas Ultima 8 in 1 system is fresh, stylish and fashionable. It includes a luxurious carrycot, forward or rear facing pushchair seat with protective Apron and Primo Viaggio IP Infant Car Seat. These attach safely and securely to your choice of MPX or X-Cel chassis or the Surefix stand (included) using the revolutionary Surefix ‘one click’ system.
Combined these form a versatile system to use both at home and away. The stand can be used with the carrycot as a handy first bed for your baby (with the addition of a Mamas and Papas Sleepsafe pram mattress) or with the seat unit as a useful travel chair for older children. With the chassis you have a pram, a reversible pushchair or a travel system.

The Car Seat
From your first journey home from hospital, you'll want to keep your baby safe and protected when in your car. Our award winning Primo Viaggio IP car seat is a great choice because it combines safety with comfort and practicality. It features side impact protection to keep your baby safe, whilst padding cushions your baby from head to toe. If you will be using your Primo Viaggio IP as an infant carrier, it is likely you will be taking your car seat in and out of the car on a regular basis. Our Primo Viaggio IP has three fitting options that can help ensure you correctly fit you car seat first time, everytime. The three fitting options are with our ISOFIX car seat base, our surefix car seat base or the vehicle belt routing system. (see below) The Side Impact Protection shell is ergonomically designed and uses Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) which is designed to absorb energy in an accident. With a deep reinforced head and hip structure it provides the optimum protection and comfort for your baby. The Carry handle and anti-rotation device means you can use the car seat as an infant carrier. When used in the vehicle the car seat is rear facing. The handle is positioned against the back of the car seat, acting as an anti-rotation device and providing greater protection for your baby.
The One pull, five point harness makes it easy to place your baby in and out of the Primo Viaggio. Simply push a button to loosen the harness to get your baby in. Once you have fastened the buckle, pull the harness adjuster to tighten the harness. With the IP's Five Shoulder positions without the need for re-routing you can ensure the harness is at the correct height to maintain maximum protection an comfort as your baby grows. The removable chest and buckle pads ensure that when the harness is taut, it is still comfortable for your baby. removable for ease of cleaning. Other features:
