MALING Commemorative GEORGE VI 1937 Coronation Beaker


Stunning commemorative Beaker celebrating George VI Coronation on the May 12th 1937. The front features a transfer printed image of the King & Queen within a shield & the reverse states Northumberland County Council Education Commitee. The beaker was made by made by Maling Pottery in Newcastle.  

The impressive beaker measures approx:  4.5" (11.5cm) tall.. has a impressed # 2085 on the base and Maling Made in England.

The beaker has no cracks/chips or restoration. Has overall fine crazing which is commensurate with age. Some of the gold gilding on the border rim has rubbed.
