The only reason I say this is that I had one very similar recently that was purchased from me. It sold for £479 and I was told new was around £3,500!

Definately not to be confused with cheaper reproduction ones. This one is solid mahogany ( approx. 7/8" thick! )

With one extra leaf (stored away from the table). Standing on two pedestals. Everything seems nice and solid, with good joints. No wobbles here. It should be pointed out that there is minor scratching on the top, aswell as a noticeable cup stain (see pics). Also there appears to be a surface split (I think just varnish) on the top. This is not too noticeable in truth. I don't think you need to, but you could have the top repolished, which would make perfect and I think would be well worth it with such a nice table. Especially at this price!

It measures approx. 64" long (+ 20.5" leaf = 84.5" when extended) x 39" wide x 30.5" high. It has the nice 'D' shaped end, so there is more space to sit.
