MAHOGANY - MADE TO ORDER 'CLASSIC' CUFFLINK BOX ON 2 TIERS

This box is a special make to order box in two tiers to take 16 pairs cufflinks on top tray and, and additional sections underneath for more cufflinks, rings, watches or necklaces, with 'classic' black interior, oiled finish and flush lid

All our boxes are hand made and finished by us, from solid real hardwoods - not thin veneer over MDF or chipboard, or wood effect painted MDF like some high street boxes.

Description

21 cell cufflink box to take 12 pairs cufflinks in the top tray and underneath a matrix of 9 cells to store cufflinks, rings, watches, chains.

Material

Made from Mahogany
Thickness of the wood will depend on what we have in stock and how much we have to plane it . But typically 15-20mm for the box, approx 10-15mm for the lid and approx 10mm for the dividers

Each cell 35mm across, 35 long and 35mm deep

9 cell matrix - removable

6 cells at either end are 40*40*40mm

3 centre cells are 90*40*40mm

Box body wood thickness 15-20mm

Box style

Box is rounded at all outside corners and outside edges,
Lid is flush cut to the box and all edges are rounded
Removable tray for the top layer , with fixed matrix
Bottom matrix removable
Matrix is square edged not rounded

Interior

Lining black velour - inside the box and the inside the cells of the matrix.
Top of the matrix is not covered, so wood is exposed.
The inside of the lid will also be lined with matching velour.

Exterior Finish

Oiled - three or four coats

Other finishing touches

Pads on the base at each corner
Two pads on underside front of lid to cushion
Brassed hinges - with brassed pins.
