This is a very rare antique French settle, and a piece that I shall be very sorry to let go - I sincerely doubt that I shall ever have the pleasure of owning another...

Sourcing new stock, we are always on the lookout for unusual, high quality pieces that are practical and stylish, and this magnificent old settle ticks all our boxes - it is simply divine, and undoubtedly the most stunning piece we have ever had the pleasure of offering for sale..

Crafted from walnut, this settle features three incredibly detailed carved panels which are undoubtedly the work of a very skilled craftsman, and would not look out of place in the grandest home.

This is a practical yet versatile piece, and could be used in a hallway, (providing valuable storage for all those shoes), a bedroom, bathroom or living area, it would make a stunning endpiece for those of you lucky enough to own a large table.

This is a very old piece, and is not in perfect condition - it does have a sprinkling of old (and treated) worm holes, there are some shrinkage cracks in the seat, and the panels are bowed - however, it is very sturdy and incredibly heavy, and will certainly make a fabulous heirloom piece.
