A Mother’s Personal Experience
Every parent has been there ... a bored child in a supermarket starts playing up, running off, shouting, asking for sweets etc. etc. This can make shopping trips a chore for everyone and a real strain.
However, there is a solution and I found this out by chance one day....
(This is a genuine true story!!)
I took my Magnetic Shopping list for its first outing to the supermarket on my 4 year old daughter’s dry-wipe board. As it was her board, I let her look after the list for me. She enjoys reading and was soon pointing out words she recognised. Instead of misbehaving, she made it her 'job' to make sure we got everything on the list. She had great fun finding the items and matching the words on 'her' board to the items on the shelves.
As well as helping me to remember to get all the shopping, these magnetic words made the shopping trip less of a chore for all of us. In addition, my daughter learns how to read a few more essential words on each trip!
Just like with the National Literacy Key Words, when children play with these magnetic words, they don’t realise that they are learning.
(N.B. These magnets are smaller than the ones in the National Literacy range, so I would not recommend them for very young children)

P&P is FREE for this item for standard
2nd Class Royal Mail delivery within mainland UK.
1st class and Registered (signed for)
postage are also available at a small extra charge (see postal fees below).
Sadly, due to a few dishonest buyers, claims for non-delivery of goods (i.e. lost in the post) will no longer be automatically replaced / refunded. However, I obtain proof of posting for all orders and will work with the Post Office to locate your missing goods or obtain compensation from them on your behalf. Please be reassured that I will do everything I can to ensure you receive what you have paid for.
Items are dispatched most weekdays (family life permitting!)
If you pay for an item before 1pm I can
sometimes dispatch the same day.
I rarely get to the Post Office on Saturday mornings so if you buy an item on Friday afternoon, please note that it may not be posted until Monday morning.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR POSTAL ADDRESS WHEN PAYING!!
Items will be posted to
your registered PayPal address unless previously agreed otherwise. If this address is incorrect and the item is returned as undelivered you will have to pay
the additional postage costs to re-send the item.
However, this will be slightly less than the original postage cost as it will not include packaging.
I cannot accept responsibility for the item if it is not returned to me or is lost due to you providing a wrong address. In these cases I cannot offer a refund or send a replacement item. |
