About Us

We're a UK based company offering quality items at prices far cheaper than the high street. We have been trading on eBay since 2002 and aim to offer a professional and efficient service. Every item is carefully packaged to ensure safe shipment to you. 

Autokool Ltd has a great reputation in the local area supplying the local garages and businesses with over 20 years experience in the motor trade. Our centrally located warehouse caters for our expanding eBay and internet business and enables us to distribute easily through our service couriers. We utilise several couriers as well as the Royal Mail. We have a great understanding of vehicles and the products we sell & can usually source most items for most jobs that you are likely to encounter.

Our aim is to Deliver the goods as soon as possible from time of payment. Please allow sufficient time over weekends and holiday periods for delivery to take place. We pride ourselves on our feedback record & will attempt to resolve any issues to the best of our ability.

Please note collection in person of items purchased through our eBay store is possible in certain situations, however all associated shipping costs must still be paid.

Payment

Our preferred method of payment is by Paypal. We also accept payment by:-  credit or debit card or cheque. When paying by cheque items will be sent once payment has cleared. All auctions and buy it now listing prices include VAT.

Shipping

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee only to cover our costs of materials and labour. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please allow extra time if you are paying by cheque.

Important information: Autokool Ltd despatch all parcels requiring a signature, either by Carrier or Royal Mail – When completing the eBay checkout, please make sure a telephone number is included and that someone will be available to accept delivery and sign for your parcel. When your item is ready for despatch we will send an automated eBay despatch notification. Failing to provide a contact phone number particularly for courier sent items will delay despatch. A telephone number is also useful if there is a problem or a delay anticipated.
 
Postage displayed is for mainland UK. Additional charges are incurred for Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and non mainland UK. If you wish to purchase an item to be delivered to these areas, please contact us first. Incorrect postage amounts on purchases will be rejected or delayed until correct payment has been made. The following postcodes affected are: AB (all), BT ( all) DD7-11, FK17-22, G83, HS, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20-48, PA60-78, PH18-26, PH30-44, ZE.

European shipments to extended locations such as Cyprus, Malta, Gozo, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Greek Islands are also not included in the european option. Additional shipping costs are payable. Please email before purchase if unsure.

We will ship via our courier to most destinations worldwide. We only charge the courier cost. Please email prior to purchasing for a quotation.

We cannot be held responsible for incorrectly ordered items. Customers should satisfy themselves that any item choice made is suitable for their intended purpose or use. We pride ourselves on our customer service. In the rare event that you have a problem with your item please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Returns

"Genuinely" faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us. Once signed for, our couriers accept no responsibility for the package. Please check carefully before signing. By providing the signature you are accepting the goods are received in good condition.

Autokool Ltd must be informed by email of any items that you wish to return for credit or exchange within 7 working days commencing the day after delivery under the distance selling regulations. You will be issued with a returns number which must be quoted on all correspondence.

All returns must have original packaging, sales paperwork and covering letter outlying reason for return. all relevant paperwork enclosed must include the returns number. All items sent back to us must not have any writing on the outer box or packaging and be in a resaleable condition if not returned due to a fault. Our returns address must be written onto a plain piece of paper and attached with tape in order for the product to be eligible for refund. Failure to include this information and comply with the above requirements will result in no refund being issued.

The cost of returning items is the responsibility of the customer.

    * Parts ordered to customer's specification cannot be returned unless the goods are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as originally described.
    * All orders cancelled within 7 working days (commencing the day after receipt of the goods) will be credited in full less any initial postage costs. Orders that have been correctly supplied and are cancelled or returned after this period; will be subject to a 20% restocking and administration charge unless the replacement item is purchased from Autokool Ltd. 
    * Any shortfall or damage to goods must be notified as soon as is reasonably possible following receipt of the goods.
    * All parts being returned for credit must be in a saleable condition (please see above re return packaging). Items will not be accepted if they appear to have been fitted, if any grease/ lubricant have been applied or if the packaging has been damaged.
    * We reserve the right to refuse a refund where any of this conditions have not been met
    * No warranty labour claims will be accepted on any faulty goods returned.
    * No liability for any work / labour costs incurred due to incorrect ordering or delays in delivery.
    * Any items made or supplied to special order requirements are not eligible for return.
