Original german pressing from 1970 on EMI/Columbia,1C 062-33 035.Laminated foldout-cover,contains complete lyrics plus liner-notes.Accompanied by Orchester Johannes Fehring(recorded just a few month before he did the LP on Preiser Records with “The Chicks”!).

Killer debut-album by singer (and actress) M.Mendt from Vienna,who sings in an austrian dialect.Loaded with rare-grooves,fat euro-bigband sound,tight drumming(probably Erich Bachträgl),rhythm-section includes electr.guitar,electr.bass & some fender rhodes.There’s only one ballad,the LP has 2 bossa-tracks,there rest are slow,mid- & up-tempo soul/funk-tunes.Killer tracks are besides the title-track austrian-sung versions of “Aquarius”,”Spinning Wheel” and Joe Zawinul’s”Mercy,Mercy,Mercy”!

Condition:the record looks ex+ with some superficial papersleeve-lines(2 tiny non-sounding hairlines on the last track),it plays in mint- all of the time.The cover has a cut-out hole in the lower right corner,the lamination is intact,slight shelf- & cornerwear,overall ex-.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
