"Those who visited our booths at the recent Motor Boat Show were quick to note the new improvements and features in Ludington's new line of runabouts and racing craft for 1930. The graceful beauty of the Sportship and Sportship Senior, their sturdy construction, the type of inboard Gray Motor selected, the forward position of dry, comfortable cockpits, the accessibility of the outboard drive unit - were carefully inspected and approved by all. Ease of control and maneuverability, and seaworthiness will be conceded by hundreds of owners as they skim the waters of lake, river, and sound in their Sportships this summer.

As for the racing craft - only Ludington could have produced the improvements which the new designs incorporate. The three models shown to the left were carefully inspected by championship drivers at the show and approved for scientific design, sturdiness, and all-around winning ability. Special side construction allows hairpin curves to be taken at full speed, a feature unknown before in racing craft. New championships will be established by these new craft in 1930!
