This auction is for a Lucas headlamp glass and chromed rim from a 1930s or 1940s Alvis, Lagonda or other prestigious make.  I got it with some other spares from a 1948 Alvis TA14 so it might have come from an Alvis.  On the glass there are the numbers X (then a backwards D) 903B and also 508724.  The rim is approximately 24.5 cm diameter, 3.2 cm deep and about 1.5 cm deep. When placed on a flat surface the glass (in its rim) is about 7 cm from the flat surface at its highest point (as you can see from the photograph it is quite domed).  The glass says Lucas in the middle and it is ribbed on the inside with a diamond/lozenge shape in the middle.  there are some scratches to the glass and a very small stone chip in the glass in one place. It is quite a difficult object to describe so please do email me with any questions.  Please do look at my other items as I'm having a garage clearout.
