Goodrich Engine Controls & Power Systems have requested that we refrain from advertising this item via eBay.  They have expressed concern that this alternator is not covered by a manufacturers warranty, and that airworthiness documentation is not available.  They also believe that eBay is an inappropriate medium for the sale of such items.  We take the view that without said warranties and documentation, this item cannot be placed in flight service, and there is consequently no flight safety issue.  A copy of the written complaint will be made available upon request.
