Greetings and Welcome to this auction for an absolutely gorgeous GEORGIAN bone china SERVING PLATTER which is hand painted and from the rare and obscure DAVENPORT factory c1810 and carries the Factory over-glazed printed mark on the rear. ~ Beautifully decorated in that slightly primitive fashion that is typical of the age and genre. The moulded and embossed decorated edge of the dish is highlighted in gold ~ Within this the platter has simple Parsley shaped leaves painted round the circumference ~ A Gorgeous and unique example of their work ~ The Platter is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or knocks ~ NO RESTORATION ~ only the slightest bit of wear to the gold highlights ~ measures 12.25" (310mm) long X 9.75" (245mm) wide ~ Selling with no reserve and a very low start ~ The Winning bidder will be delighted and can expect perfect packing and posting ~ Happy Bidding and GOOD LUCK!!!
