My name is Colin and I have been dealing in antique porcelain since 1989 specialising in hand painted porcelain from 1800 - 1850 for the first ten years or so but due to a general decline and lack of interest from the younger generation I have had to diversify and now deal in hand painted wares up to the 1930s and collect signed pieces from the Minton ,Worcester , Doulton, and Coalport factories, I have a huge library of books covering nearly every factory that produced pottery and porcelain so if I do not know something I can generally look it up if given the time so you can rest assured that my listings are normally based on facts and not guess work, I still stall out at local antique fairs even now when the fairs are not so well attended as with most dealers if its in your blood its hard to change.
Please feel free to contact me at colin.mayes@btinternet.com or telephone on 01359 271487 , mobile 0788 4443371 if you have any querries regarding any item for sale or on a wish list.
