Louis XVI style Sofa Chaise & Matching Fauteuil Armchair

Item Details: Louis XVI style Sofa Chaise & Matching Fauteuil Armchair. These date to ca1900 and have been reupholstered at some point in quality striped Rust coloured fabric with a tonic shine. This is in superb order with no marks, rips or tears. The solid hardwood frames with carved detailing has been repainted at some point and this off white finish is “shabby chic” in appearance with cracks and chips to the paint revealing the original painted finish below. There is no woodworm damage.
The frames are firm of joint and wobble free. The front centre leg is a little loose but you only notice this when moving the sofa and in situ it stands firm.

The charge is one way and you are not charged for the return journey.
