This auction is for 20 different 6x4 colour prints of English Electric Type 3 Class 37 locomotives all with pre-TOPS numbers.

A few years ago we acquired the remaining stocks of Modern Image Prints of Reading, these are some of the last of the older subjects (1960s/early 1970s). Note we do not own the negatives or the copyright of these photos, we don't even know who the photographers are in most cases, so when they have gone they have gone for good!

Unidentified loco - a split box variant in green livery.

Photos are in as new condition, never before sold. Loco numbers are clearly visible and legible on all but one of the photos, the pics look much better than the low resolution image in this advert.

We start the bidding at our usual selling price per print of 35p each.

All proceeds towards the upkeep of 47401 and D1516.
