Recent 'returns' to the label. Sat in distributors for years. In perfect condition. The story began with the 'classic' line-up of Stiv Bator’s, Brian James (former Damned founder), Dave Tregunna and Nicky Turner setting fire to the tapestry of tedium that was the early '80's, through this era of the bands dissolution in the latter part of the decade, and then the start of the resurrection with Grant Flemming coming in on Bass and Alistair Symons on Second Guitar, finally leading to the Second Coming of The Lords in the late '80's, with Dave Tregunna back in the fold and Danny Fury on Drums. This line up continued until the infamous London Astoria Gig which proved to be The Lords Last Stand on Tuesday, May 2nd 1989, when Stiv sacked the band live on stage. The Lords themselves left an incendiary path of complete Rock and Roll destruction in their wake, regularly blitzkreiging their way through various cities around the world, and inspiring all who saw them. Sadly, with Stiv's demise on the 3rd of June 1990, the very foundations of Rock'n'Roll were shook to their very core. Anyone who saw them live knows how good they were, and with the Reissue of their three classic IRS albums on Track Records, never has there been a better time to join the New Church. The band has cult status since co-founder Stiv Bator’s died in 1990. Album has never been released on CD before. B-sides from singles added as bonus tracks “Good To Be Bad “ “Mind Warp” featured in “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and have never been released in any form before. |
