The EOC-2610 is a high performance outdoor wireless Access Point and Client Bridge for the unlicensed 2.4GHz 802.11b/g range. It features high transmit output power and high receive sensitivity.  The unit includes a 10bB antenna and can also be used with external antennas for maximum flexibility and is designed to be pole or wall mounted.

Included in the pack is 2 PoE (Power Over Ethernet) adapters, meaning that you dont need to run long power cables, instead the power is sent down the lan cable!

Configured as a wi-fi access point the 2610’s high output power and sensitivity extend coverage to reduce the number of Access Points required to cover a given area, minimising equipment and installation costs.

Configured in a pair for point to point bridging the 2610 can support distances up to 30km, using suitable external antennas.  LED signal strength indicators are provided to aid alignment
The 2610 is also particularly suited to use as a low-cost customer premise client device in wireless ISP installations.

Wireless links are secured with 64/128-bit WEP and WPA/WPA2 data encryption and MAC address filtering lets you select exactly which stations are given access. In addition User-to-User Isolation can hide users from each other on public networks.

These wireless access points are perfect for people looking at receiving or sending a wireless network over a fairly long distance, if you are stranded away from a wireless network, maybe on a Caravan site or down at the bottom of a large garden then this device is perfect.

30km Range can be acheived on direct line of sight. The range is reduced when objects or walls are between the two access points.
