This is a long elegant necklace& earrings set  in a soothing shade of pastel green.  It is made with beautiful beads made of Peace Jade and New Jade highlighted with Swarovski Crystals in a toning shade called "Cantaloupe".  The earrings have Sterling Silver ear wires (pierced ears only).

Peace Jade is a wonderful mix of pale green cream, white with flashes of lilac.  I've added just the tiniest touch of sparkle with the Swarovski Crystals.

The beads are threaded onto a strong cord in a toning shade of pale green. (by the way the cord is very resistant to any staining so if you have concerns about the cord getting dirty I have tested it & because it has a special coating on the cord it is very serviceable)

Unusual & elegant ..............

The beads are striking and because they are semi-precious stone there is a nice weight making the necklace hang well - Jade has a long history as a lucky stone and is said to protect the wearer particularly when travelling. There are 2 kinds of Jade in this set so twice the good fortune! 

It measures 38" (nearly 1m!) so nice and long - there is no clasp so it just goes over your head, it's meant to be worn in a single strand.  The large central bead is 2" (5cm) long so pretty chunky!  The side sections of beads are 8cm (3"+)

The earrings are made with lovely Peace Jade teardrops and measure 1.5" (just over 4 cm)

Although I can see this works best with a summer wardrobe these long necklaces are great with knitwear too...........
