Live Steam Engine Vintage Horizontal Rare Old Toy Model Motor. This is a working steam engine model that would drive a small hobby power plant, or toy model machine shop tool. This is a great unidentified live steam engine to use in making a steam demonstration project or to show someone else a how-to hobby.

Condition is Very Good to Excellent. Smooth turning. Boiler stand attaching to the firebox has one brass screw and could use three more.

• Neat horizontal stationary table steam engine design that I was unable to identify, possibly Australian or UK manufacturing with some castings or scratch built parts  (it also does resemble antique Stuart engine castings somewhat). If you can name the actual manufacturer and year please use Ask a Question and let me know.
• We cleaned up this model. Looks like it will run with very moderate effort.
• Nice 6 1/2" inch brass boiler with all fittings assembled. Grooved brass flywheel about 3 1/4" inches.
• Entire engine and stand is iron, steel and brass.
• Includes everything you see in the photo such as a beautiful old whistle, steam valve, chimney. Lots of neat antique parts used here.
• Very interesting engine design and beautiful distinctive cast iron and iron sheet looking base. Can find no markings
• The steam engine is single cylinder, with interesting slide mechanism adjacent to the piston rod.

8 1/2" inches long by about 6 1/2" inches at widest. 12 3/8" inches at tallest. The stroke looks to be about 5/8" inches.  Engine and stand weighs 8 pounds . Will weigh more packed for transport so expect postage to add up.
