I'm using the Emu oil to help fade two surgical scars. I was using Bio-Oil previously, but was looking for a natural, non-synthetic alternative and read a recommendation for Emu oil. I have been using it for a week and have noticed that the treated areas remain well moisturized for longer than when I was using Bio-Oil. I have not noticed a significant change in the colour of the scars, however they do seem slightly paler each morning having applied the Emu oil at bed time. I also used the Emu oil on my legs yesterday after shaving and was amazed at how soft and silky they felt, as if they had been waxed!
