This 24-bit studio professional version of the famous POD in a 2-unit rackmount version, sounds fantastic and can be used for physical modelling of guitar amp characteristics – but is equally invaluable for shaping the sound of analogue and digital synths and weird and wonderful vocals.
 
The professional build quality is immediately obvious, with excellent A/D and D/A in an anodised aluminium red chassis. Unbalanced jack input for line-level sources (guitars, synths, samplers) and front panel guitar input. Unbalanced ¼” jack output (unprocessed audio), effects sends and returns. Processed output as balanced XLRs and jacks for analogue, XLR and phono connectors for AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital outputs. Digital operations can be 44.1khz or 48khz and locked to external word clock.
 
32 amp models and 16 speaker models with dedicated effects setups all available from front panel black rotary knobs – representing the last 40 years of tonal heritage in guitar amplifier design. Even simply running the audio from a digital synth through a tube setting will create added warmth and width to your sounds.
