Limited Edition 24 Warriors in Fine Sculptured Pewter

For your consideration is this unique 24 piece Limited Edition set of World Warriors called the "Champions of Courage" commissioned by American Express.  The pieces were issued one per month for two years from 1977 to 1979.  Each individual figure represents and era of conflict from a Viking warrior of 800-1200 A.D. to a United States infantryman of WWII.  I would have taken individual photographs of the front and back of each piece to show the elaborate detail of the sculptor but I could only upload a total of 12 pictures, so I included just a few for your perusal.  If you are seriously interested in acquiring this wonderful collection, and you want me to, I will take those and forward the additional pictures to you via email.  Please give a couple of days.  In the picture group above, I have included the front and back in a closeup of several of the warriors.  On the bottom of the base of each warrior there is engraved each warrior's individual conflict and the date thereof.  The height varies from just under 5" to just over 6" so, you might say that the average height is 5 1/2".  The set comes in a well built, wooden, fabric lined box with dividers to separate each piece.

The fine print:  Each piece came with a pamphlet outlining the historical significance of the conflict, in which each warrior was involved, and also with a Certificate of Authenticity.  I only have 12 of the 24 pamphlets and certificates.  The ones I do have are good shape with the exception that one is smudged and one is wrinkled.  The others got lost in the shuffle over the years, somehow.  The sword of the Conquistador Warrior has broken off and I still have it and will superglue it back but I wanted you to know.  The hand of the Potsdam Grenadier is broken off, or was blown off, but in any case, it is missing.  The wooden box has a few dings.
