Limited Edition Proof Medal Set, Queens US Visit 1976, Frank Gasparro

This is a very limited edition set of medals produced to commemorate the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to the US for the Bicentennial visit of 1976. three medals are in the set, designed by the mint sculptor Frank Gasparro. One is cast in bronze, the second in sterling silver, the third in gold plated sterling silver. Only 2,500 sets were produced, of which this is set number 94. It comes in the original wallet with documentation signed by Gasparro and the chairman of the Medallic Art Company, who were responsible for the production. I don’t know the weigh of the medals (they are proof and I am not going to handle them), but they measure around 38mm in diameter. Condition of medals and folder is near mint.
