The Sets are generally of six cards. There are some exception of 3, 4, 8, 10, 12, 18 and 24.

They are chromo-litho cards and go back as far as 1872. The range of subjects of these cards is vast and to say the least unusual.  Subjects can be found on Liebig cards that cannot be found on the more conventional Cigarette card or Trade card sets and their popularity improves all the time. They are very attractive sets and have stunning artwork of Liebig cards from this period. The sets are ideal for framing.
