Lidded Pewter Tankard Norwegian

This attractive pewter tankard has a hinged lid with thumb grip. It stands 18 cm high. We believe that it was made between 1976 and 1986. It was purchased in Norway and has only had one owner. It is stamped on the base with BM Pewter Norway. This is the design of Mylius Brodrene and the stamp also bears his 'shorebird' logo and the number 2001.  This tankard is in pretty good condition and it is a very pleasing well-proportioned shape. It has a couple of tiny shallow scratches and a very shallow (hard to detect) dent on one side. It has only been cleaned with soap and water.
