Lethal Weapon Directors Cut
The first pairing of Riggs and Murtaugh is an explosive and action packed adventure that set the scenes for the three following films. Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) is an on the edge cop, his wives death in a traffic accident has left him unstable and hard to work with. Hes assigned as a new partner to the easy going Roger Murtaugh, whos just turned 50 and is looking forward to his retirement. Together the two make an odd couple, who at first hate each other but learn to get along when they get on the trail of an international heroin ring who will let nothing get in their way. This directors cut now features several new scenes including; Riggs dealing with a sniper in a schoolyard, smashing up the TV in his trailer and hiring a prostitute to watch the Three Stooges with.

Lethal Weapon 2 Directors Cut
The action continues in this high-octaine sequel which sees Riggs and Murtaugh taking on South African smugglers working in L.A. When a federal witness, Leo (Joe Pesci), that the two are guarding reveals that hes done business with the South Africans, Riggs and Murtaugh take matters into their own hands and set out to stop them. This extended directors cut features several new scenes including; Riggs getting attention from some women at a hotel spa; the exploding toilet sequence is lengthened and Murtaugh sees it hit his car; Murtaugh gets information about bodywork on his car from a auto repairman; Leo recalls a suspects address in a very unusual, humorous way.

Lethal Weapon 3 Directors Cut
The adventures continue with this the third entry in the series, that sees Riggs and Murtaugh up against crooked cops dealing inn illegal arms. This time though Riggs has met his match as hes joined by female cop Lorna Cole (Rene Russo) who also likes nothing better then getting into a good fight or damaging herself in some way. Joe Pesci also puts in his second appearance as the annoying estate agent Leo Getz. Extra scenes included in this directors cut include; Murtaugh being forced to wear body armour; Riggs being visited by Murtaughs daughter at his trailer; Riggs, Murtaugh, and Lorna threaten to run over a suspects head if he doesn t tell them what they want to hear.

Lethal Weapon 4
The final part of the series sees the gang taking on a Chinese slavery ring that’s at work in America. Lead by Wah Sing Ku (Jet Li) the Triads are also involved in counterfeit currency with witch they hope to free their bosses from the Chinese military. Rene Russo and Joe Pesci return once again and are joined by newcomer Chris Rock who adds even more comedy to the story. Though its Jet Li who steals the film as the best bad guy since Gary Busey in the original. This is the standard version of the film and features no extra footage.
